Born with the rare gift of harmonic perception, Sandra began performing with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra at the age of 11. Her sensitivity to frequency and energy, on what she calls “the original language of the soul,” laid the foundation for her service as a vibrational healer, sacred musician, and spiritual guide. These early musical imprints became a lifelong calling to help others attune to divine frequency and live in coherence with their soul’s design.
Now, as the founder of Compassion Creator Co., Dr. Moon holds sacred space for visionaries, creatives, and leaders navigating seasons of deep transformation. Rev. Dr. Sandra Moon is a distinguished faith leader, entrepreneur, and cultural visionary whose transformative work has shaped the Dallas landscape and community since 1990. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, she moved to Dallas as a young adult, where she married her husband, Sam Moon, in 1990. Together, they helped grow a thriving family and business, spearheading the expansion of Sam Moon Trading Co. into one of Dallas’s leading real estate development firms.
At the heart of her life are her two beloved children, Lauren and Sam Jr., and her cherished daughter-in-law, Jessica. Raising her children and witnessing their growth into purposeful adults has been her greatest joy and most meaningful accomplishment, grounding all she does in love, faith, and generational blessing.
Dr. Moon’s multifaceted career bridges the worlds of music, the arts, retail, nonprofit leadership, and commercial real estate development. She holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Dispute Resolution and a Doctoral of Ministry from Southern Methodist University —academic foundations that reflect her lifelong commitment to healing, reconciliation, and spiritually rooted leadership.
As the Creative Founder of the award-winning Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel, Dr. Moon brought her signature “West of Zen” aesthetic to life, shaping the design, experience, and cultural narrative of the property in collaboration with the Sam Moon Group. Her visionary direction infused the hotel with elegance, harmony, and an East-meets-West ethos that continues to garner national recognition.
Among her many honors, Dr. Moon received the Florence Shapiro Distinguished Leadership Award for her impact in civic and spiritual leadership. And as Chair of the Legacy Cultural District in Plano, she championed initiatives that expanded access to the arts and deepened community engagement. Dr. Moon was also named Art Patron of the Year by the Fashion Group International of Dallas, in recognition of her contributions to the region’s creative and cultural vitality.
